High-Quality Magnesium Protects better and lasts longer than Aluminum Anodes. Extends the life of a water heater by attracting corrosive elements in the water.

Product Features

  • 99.8% Pure High Quality Magnesium anode rod. Better than powered anode rod, camper rod and aluminum rod. Compatible with all models Suburban (D, DE, DEL, DEM models).
  • For RV water heaters and camper water heater. Replacement Part Suburban 232767. Large Roll Of Teflon Pipe Thread Sealing Tape Included for you. Size: 9 ¼” Length and has ¾” NPT Thread. Uses a 1 1/16” (27mm) socket (not included)
  • Replacing the anode rod in a water heater before it fails can slow down corrosion inside the tank and significantly extend the life of the water heater, sometimes even doubling it. You can get rid of the rotten egg smell with 3 simple steps.
  • A magnesium water heater anode rod protects your tank better and last longer. Aluminum/zinc rods are cheaper and are recommended if you have smelly incoming water. But consult a water treatment specialist before switching to an aluminum rod.
  • Anode rods should be replaced regularly 6 months to 1 year if you have bad incoming water, keep few spare in your RV just in case while you are camping.

Fits into anode well.! Fits perfectly. Haven’t used yet but no doubt it will work. Needed a 1-1/16 socket to remove anode but the hex head of anode was in a round well and wasn’t sure a there would be enough room for a round socket. Had a 1” socket and it barely fit in well.? Didn’t want to have to remove trim and insulation around socket. This fits.

Great value for the money. Product fit as described. Was easy to remove old rod and replace with this brand. Before you install the new rod I would recommend purchasing a tank clean out wand. There not very expensive and they really get the old residue out of the tank.
