Good for two 10’s or one 12 under normal conditions. Get a bigger Amp if you want it to hit longer and harder. I’ve had it for about seven months now. It’s hooked up to a boss 2.2 capacitor, and a Alpine 12 type R sub 4 ohms. When I have the volume up for an hour I lost my bump . Two weeks ago I put another 12 (pioneer with a short box) and after an 1 hour the amp must have over heated. Lost base again. Hot to touch.

DO NOT BUY, BOSS LIES ABOUT THE WATTAGE Please, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS AMP. It claims 300 watts per channel @4 ohm but it’s no where near that good! (I got the PT1600) This product is getting returned ASAP. I was using a 900w Piooner amp (GM-A5602) before I hooked this one up and the 900w pioneer amp hit so much harder! The funniest thing is, the 900w pioneer amp is fused at 80amps, but this supposedly 1600w amp with 600rms total @ 4ohm is only fused at 50 amps, what a joke! This amp can push a maximum of 600 watts without…

3.5/5 Honestly I expected more than what I truly got. I originally got this amp to power 2 12″ MA Audio’s. It powered them very s***tily. I ended up switching the subs out 2 12″ kicker comps 500 watt in a 4th order band pass box (same box as the MASS) and it poweres them perfectly. The tuning on the sub is set up the same but compared to other boss amps the tuning doesn’t turn out as clean as I would like since it doesn’t seem as sensitive. If you do the kicker set up you won’t have any problems…
