This is THE kit to use for a 2v Triton … This is THE kit to use for a 2v Triton motor if your treads get ruined by a blown plug.I had the unfortunate event happen to me about 20 miles from home, could not thread in a new plug (I keep spares in my truck) so I knew the threads were toast. Disconnected the injector and limped her home on 7 cylinders and backroads.Ordered this kit, busted out the air compressor and air ratchet, (fortunate enough to be able to use them) but I’m sure a standard ratchet would suffice.Now I…

fixes ford’s apparent lack of engineering at a lesser price easy to use. fixed one spark plug on my 2003 F150 XLT with the 4.6 engine. directions are clear. Videos on the internet are available if needed. it’s hard to pay this price when only needed for one cylinder, but quite a bit less than the top of the line. fixed my vehicle a couple months back and truck runs fine without issue to this day. This was done in front of my garage with simple tools i already owned. took a little over an hour, but i was very cautious and took my time.

PSA on the overall quality of this kit Well where do i start…[The rubber hose that is supposed to let you know when the valves are closed]The air hose comes with an irregular 3/8 male IM “style” air hose plug. The plug that is included is so irregularly shaped that it would not lock into the 3/8 female IM connector from my compressor. I have included a picture of a good IM male plug next to it so you can see the difference. The additional problem is that the threads on the Calvan kit male plug are also not standard. So…
