Small base adversely affects stability. The small base on these units does not provide much stability. They need to be modified with a larger base, but would require welding. Also, the craftsman ship was less than stellar. By design these units use a roll pin through a nut and the threaded rod for functionality. These were not installed correctly and therefore would not allow for the basic adjustment of height. I had to locate a punch and hammer, them drive these roll pins further in before I could use the units. The concept is…
