The cap is not the greatest design. I was really looking forward to trying this product for its heat resistance. On first try the cap was not easy to remove at all. The cap eventually came off and took the nozzle with it. This caused the contents of the can to begin spraying out uncontrollably. I was in the basement wash room when it went off. I ran up the stairs and through the kitchen trying to contain the spray with the cap but failing miserably. I could not get the cap back on the can. I pointed it into the garbage…

Good coverage and proper color for my circa 1960s Chrysler … Good coverage and proper color for my circa 1960s Chrysler engine (after I tried Valspar Plasticoat Chrysler Blue which had inferior coverage and the WRONG COLOR! I will be purchasing more of these now that I know for sure it’s right. One can painted the intake, the valve covers, water pump housing, thermostat housing, etc.

Great, even applying paint Bought VHT Satin Black & Gold paints for our motor. Both applied very well and came out looking great. I did use Rustoleum 2000 degree primer before applying these paints to the motor. I also used the gold paint on the brake calipers and covered with rustoleum 2000 degree clear coat. DO NOT USE VHT Caliper Paint. It was terrible….but this Engine paint is great!
